Elias was rather fussy yesterday afternoon. I’m not sure what’s up with that. He was an absolute angel last week, but this week he’s gone back to being fussy a couple hours a day. I think he’s just getting himself overstimulated and over tired and then refuses to sleep.
He’s been playing with things a lot more lately. He loves the gym thing my mom got him with toys all over the place and music and flashing lights. I’m going to have to get him some more toys like that.
He loves having conversations with me. He’ll coo and make baby sentences and then smile and wait for my reaction. God, he’s so adorable when he does that. Unfortunately it usually precedes a fussy period.
Mark and I are looking into getting a digital camcorder so we can start recording videos of Elias. He wants to go all out, of course, but I think it’d be better to get something simple and cheap because who knows how much we’re really going to use it and why do we need top of the line everything?
Mark has to work super late tomorrow (could be up until 2am) so I’m thinking of going down to my mom’s work to visit to have something to break up my day a bit. It’d be the longest car ride Elias has been on yet, so it’d be interesting to see how he deals with it, especially since we’ll be making a 7-8 hour car trip two days in a row at the end of the month.
